But few, if any, actually have enough confidence or high levels of self-reliance in themselves to go out solo, and liscensing, biased IP and copyright laws, and other obstacles are put up there to make the path towards self-sufficiency near most impossible. In a sense, it seems that our economy is designed to overproduce beta males and bored women, who only find joy in meaningless fashion and entertainment. Perhaps, those robber barons did get what they want after all, and we’re still arguing over right and left, or feminism and men’s rights, not really understanding, that as long as we’re not competing or threatening their legacies, they could care less.
